I wasn't sure when I started if I would enjoy this but as I kept reading I was glad I did. The Mad Duke, our Devon is quite the devil and when he decides he wants something he goes all out to get it whether its getting revenge or getting the woman he wants. He has had to live down his fathers reputation of being mad all his life so he gives the Ton what they expect. Then we have our Miss Lily Phillips. She loves her dying father. Her brothers are selling their estate heirlooms out from under them and Lily has the last straw when her brother sells her fathers watch. When she goes to London to get it back its to late. Devon has already bought it. This is where Devon our Mad Duke and Lily meet. A little drinking, trickery, seduction by our innocent Lily leaves Devon alone in the morning and minus his new watch. She never expects to see him again until her brothers decide to sell her to the highest bidder. You really have to get this book. It has some really fun high jinx from the Mad Duke. I found it a fun romp. Lily's brothers are awlful but they get theirs in the end...Enjoy!!!!
